Developer tools that get the job done.
MENDING in two lines
MENDING is a Paris-based software studio that designs and operates SaaS tools for development teams. Société par actions simplifiée, registered with the Paris Trade Register (RCS Paris 992 364 364), share capital €1,000, headquartered at 60 rue François 1er, in the 8th arrondissement.
Co-founded by Maxime (President) and Romain (CEO), two developers who have spent enough hours wrestling with lang/ files to decide to turn the experience into a product.
Our first product: Loklify, the hosted i18n and Laravel lang/ platform for modern applications — hosted translation management with zero infrastructure to run.
Our conviction
A large share of developer-facing SaaS tools are written by people who have never had to use them every day. The result is familiar: products that check the boxes during a demo but break down the moment you wire them into a real stack, per-seat pricing that punishes collaboration, marketing-first features that overshadow concrete integration needs.
At MENDING, we build what we wished existed off the shelf. Developer tooling designed around three simple principles: code-first (the tool fits your stack, not the other way around), predictable pricing (unlimited seats, no hidden per-user cost), data ownership (your data is yours, exportable any time).
Why Loklify, and why now?
Managing translations in a multilingual application is, in 2026, still an obstacle course. JSON, YAML, Gettext PO and Laravel lang/ files live in the repo. Every typo fix means a pull request, a review, a deployment. Translators don't have dashboard access and send their fixes by email. The established tools (Lokalise, Phrase, Crowdin) were historically designed for translation agencies: heavy workflow, per-seat billing, Laravel lang/ support treated as an export format rather than a first-class one.
Loklify starts from a different premise: translations are code, but editing them shouldn't be. The platform centralizes every format — JSON, YAML, PO, Laravel PHP — in a single dashboard. SDKs (Vue, Nuxt, Laravel) load strings live via a REST API. You edit a string, it appears in production within seconds, no rebuild or redeploy. Translators work in their interface, developers keep control of the code.
Who is it for?
Development teams maintaining a multilingual application that want to take translations out of the Git flow without giving up control. In particular:
- Laravel developers using
lang/PHP as their main format. - Vue / Nuxt teams relying on vue-i18n and nuxt-i18n.
- Solo devs shipping a multilingual side-project who want a generous free tier without a homemade system to maintain.
- Engineering managers looking for an alternative to per-seat pricing from Lokalise and Phrase — Loklify includes unlimited seats on every plan.
Our commitments
- GDPR — translation data hosted in the European Union, infrastructure documented in our privacy notice. (privacy)
- No tracking — the public landing page uses zero cookies, just anonymous audience measurement via Plausible.
- Data ownership — your keys and translations remain your property. Full export to JSON, YAML, PO or PHP at any time, from the dashboard or API.
- Open SDKs — the client packages (
@loklify/core,@loklify/vue,@loklify/nuxt,loklify/laravel) are open source on GitHub. github.com/loklify
